One of the most amazing place in Sweden, particularly in the Kungsleden. It is a path north of the country, about 440 km. long and about 200 above the Arctic Circle.
The Kungsleden is special because it crosses one of the most remote areas of Europe, full of desert landscapes and a captivating beauty. It is much more interesting to the road in spring, because all this snow, but the temperature is pleasant. However, in summer the scenery is also amazing.
Normal in the Kungsleden is to use the skis, but also serve as snowshoes that are easier to handle for beginners. Equipment must be of quality to counteract the cold.
Best of Kungsladen is to be in direct contact with wild nature, as the scenery is pristine. Such adventures are ideal for away from it all, as in shelters there is no electricity or running water.
That if all passengers have good linens, the atmosphere is fantastic and fellowship reigns. One of the great attractions is the possibility to admire the aurora borealis. A hidden gem in northern Sweden.
